BLOCKHAVEN

How Blockhaven works

One system, read in order.

A market's backdrop, its morning tape, the day's catalysts and its companies all bear on one another. Each is a page you can open; the point is how they are read together.
  1. 01

    Macro context

What backdrop is the market pricing against?

Blockhaven Macro summarises market conditions (risk appetite, liquidity and the regime they point to) as a daily read with its methodology in the open.

  2. 02

    Morning tape

What moved overnight, and what is scheduled today?

Morning Intelligence reads the tape before the open, ties each mover to a verified catalyst where one exists, and lists the official releases and earnings ahead, with the data cutoff stated.

  3. 03

    Company fundamentals

    What changed in the business?

Company Intelligence reads each company's SEC filings and earnings release for growth, margins, profit, guidance and company-specific measures, with the sources listed.

    Earnings change and market reaction

How did the market take it?

Where Blockhaven has recorded the market's reaction to a report, the company page sets it beside the quarter itself, so a change in the numbers and a change in the price are read together.

    Events and positioning

    In research · not published

What is already priced in, and what is crowded?

Blockhaven is researching how event and options positioning can add to this picture. It is not published yet, and nothing on the site depends on it.

How to read a Blockhaven page

  • Dated

Every figure says when it is as of. Market times are in Eastern Time.

  • Fact apart from interpretation

What was reported is kept separate from Blockhaven's own read, and the read is labelled.

  • Missing stays missing

If a value is not available the page says so. It is never shown as zero or filled in.
